POSITION SUMMARY
This role requires advanced, expert-level proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), including rigorous application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), industry design codes, and fabrication best practices. This role serves as the formal drawing governance authority within Parklane’s Design & Technical Engineering (D&TE) function.
Responsible for the review, validation, and release of 2D fabrication drawings, this role is to ensure that all design outputs meet established technical standards, project requirements, constructability expectations, and applicable industry codes prior to formal issuance.
Working within a collaborative lattice structure alongside the Technical Design Manager, this role shares responsibility for strengthening technical consistency, mentoring Designers, and advancing drawing quality across projects. While maintaining hands-on involvement in complex design work where required, the primary mandate of this position is to uphold drawing integrity, reinforce standards, and ensure alignment between design intent, manufacturing capability, and installation realities.
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the ideal candidate will play a critical role in sustaining technical rigor, consistency, and long-term capability within the team.
