The Company
Parklane Solutions (US affiliate of Parklane Mechanical Acoustics) is a family owned and operated business, providing engineered noise control solutions to the ICI sector across North America. Parklane has over a 30-year legacy in the noise and vibration control industry, historically focusing on customized, solution-based noise control applications. Parklane has experienced sustained rapid growth since 2014 through leveraging its reputation as a premium service provider across targeted market sectors, and further developing its core engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Parklane’s unique ‘solutions-based’ delivery model provides clients with full customization of both the noise control solution and the scope required to implement it. As a result, Parklane’s ability to seamlessly integrate these solutions into a myriad of different applications has yielded several new growth opportunities across various market sectors and geographic areas.

The Role
This position is defined as an integral leadership role in the organization. The fundamental role of the Market Development Manager will be facilitating Parklane’s continued growth in the Western US market. Specifically, key locations as identified through Parklane’s strategic expansion plan. This is a ‘bull-by-the-horns’ position, designed specifically for an individual with ambitions of creating positive, transformative change within an organization.
The Role: This position plays a crucial role in driving Parklane’s growth by focusing on new customer acquisition and lead generation across key market sectors. The Market Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. Operating within a pod-based sales model, the Market Development Manager will collaborate with an Account Executive to achieve shared sales goals, supporting efforts as needed to ensure success. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to market development and customer engagement.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Market Development and Strategic Prospecting:
- Focus on new customer acquisition by identifying and engaging with key decision-makers in targeted market sectors.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies aligned with Parklane’s strategic growth initiatives.
- Research and prioritize high-potential accounts and opportunities within assigned regions or market verticals.
2. Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Actively generate and qualify leads to ensure a consistent and high-quality sales pipeline.
- Use a combination of direct outreach, relationship-building with industry partners, and strategic networking to uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to leverage campaigns and promotional efforts for lead generation.
3. Collaboration Within the Pod Model:
- Partner closely with the Account Executive to ensure seamless transitions from lead generation to deal conversion.
- Provide support during the sales process, including sharing key insights about prospects and their needs.
- Assist with follow-ups, scheduling, and other activities that facilitate the AE’s closing efforts.
4. Industry and Market Intelligence:
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities that could impact Parklane’s positioning or sales strategy.
- Regularly share insights and recommendations with the sales team and leadership to refine approaches and identify emerging opportunities.
5. Reporting and CRM Management:
- Diligently update and manage all lead and prospect information in Parklane’s CRM.
- Track and report on lead generation activities and pipeline metrics, ensuring alignment with sales targets.
- Provide regular updates on progress toward individual and pod-based goals.
Ancillary Duties:
1. Thought Leadership:
- Stay informed about changes in external market conditions, including regulatory updates, community perception shifts, and industry trends relevant to Parklane’s business.
- Communicate insights externally through blogs, case studies, or participation in industry forums to position Parklane as a thought leader in the field.
2. Marketing Collaboration:
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between lead generation efforts and broader promotional strategies.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives by providing feedback on prospect engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Represent Parklane at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to expand the company’s visibility and network.
3. Technical Knowledge Development:
- Continuously enhance understanding of Parklane’s engineered solutions through training and collaboration with internal teams.
- Develop the ability to effectively articulate the value and capabilities of Parklane’s offerings to prospective customers.
Metrics for Success:
- Prospecting funnel advancement.
- Volume of new qualified opportunities generated monthly and quarterly.
- Contribution to the pod’s overall revenue target.
- Engagement with key accounts and decision-makers in targeted sectors.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
